The Perkins girls soccer team saw its season come to an end Wednesday night with a hard-fought 1-0 loss to No. 2 seed Mansfield Christian in the Division IV district semifinals. The Pirates battled from start to finish, but one goal proved to be the difference in a tightly contested playoff matchup. Although the result was not what Perkins hoped for, the team has plenty to be proud of following a season marked by hard work, growth, and commitment to one another. The Pirates continued to compete and improve throughout the year, building a strong group that represented Perkins well. While the season ends short of the team's ultimate goal, the progress made and the bonds built along the way will carry forward. Congratulations to the players and coaches on a memorable season, and thank you to everyone who supported Perkins girls soccer throughout the year.
