The Perkins girls golf team punched its ticket to the district tournament with a strong fifth-place finish at the Division I Northwest Sectional Tournament at Sycamore Springs Golf Course. The Lady Pirates finished with a team score of 398, placing fifth out of 15 teams and securing a spot in the district match. Clyde took first place with a 379, followed by Ashland with a 387, Findlay with a 389 and St. Marys Memorial with a 397. Ireland Hart led Perkins individually, finishing seventh with a score of 94. Maycee Bohn carded a 100 to finish 17th, while Tatum Koch and Lucy Miller each shot 102 and tied for 23rd. Aubrey Ransom rounded out the Perkins scoring with a 104, finishing 28th. With their sectional performance, the Lady Pirates advance to the Division I District Tournament, which will be held this coming Tuesday at Stone Ridge Golf Course in Bowling Green, Ohio at 9:00am.
