The Perkins girls golf team turned in a strong performance in a competitive shootout against Clyde, Columbian, Bellevue and Vermilion, finishing second out of five teams with a team score of 180. Clyde edged the Pirates with a 177. Ireland Hart led the way for Perkins, capturing first place individually with a round of 40. Maycee Bohn followed with a third-place finish at 43, while Lucy Miller placed sixth with a 46. Rounding out the Pirates' lineup, Tatum Koch finished 10th with a 51, while Elsie Link and Aubrey Ransom tied for 17th with rounds of 54. The Pirates have continued to put together strong performances throughout the season and will now turn their attention toward the postseason, with tournament play just around the corner.
