The Perkins Girls Cross Country team competed at the BGSU Mel Brodt Invitational, with four Pirates taking part in the race among a field of 238 runners. Because Perkins had only four runners competing, the team did not receive an official team score or team placement. Despite that, the Pirates turned in strong individual performances, including Lillie Price, who improved her time from the previous week and finished in the top 34% of the race. The Pirates will look to build on these individual improvements as the season continues.
