Shortly after, the Perkins defense pinned St. Francis deep in their own territory, forcing a safety to extend the lead to 9-0. Kuhnle kept the pressure on in the second quarter, connecting with Kaden Legando for a 37-yard touchdown pass to build a 16-0 advantage heading into halftime. JoJo Moore sealed the victory in the third quarter with a 15-yard touchdown run, bringing the score to its final 23-0 mark. Kicker Danny Buga was reliable all night, going a perfect 3-for-3 on extra points. Perkins outgained St. Francis in total yards, 177 to 119. Kuhnle finished the night completing 12 of 20 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown, spreading the ball to eight different receivers.
