VOLLEYBALL TAKES DOWN PORT CLINTON IN THREE SETS

The Perkins Volleyball team continued its strong start to the season with a convincing 3-0 victory over Port Clinton, winning by scores of 25-21, 25-13, and 25-15. Viera Walker led the Pirates offensively with 13 kills, while also adding five digs, one ace, and one block. Brooklyn Cassidy contributed 11 kills, 18 digs, and three aces, while Avisi Gehlot recorded 11 digs and an ace. Braelyn Davie helped direct the offense with an impressive 27 assists, along with four aces and four digs. With the victory, Perkins improves to 5-1 on the season, while the freshman and JV teams remain undefeated at 3-0 and 6-0, respectively. The Pirates will be back in action today against Edison, with the JV and varsity teams taking the court. The match will mark Perkins' fourth match in just six days, putting the team's depth, energy, and determination to the test as they look to keep their strong start rolling.
