The Perkins Girls Cross Country team competed at the Seneca East Tiger Classic on Saturday, gaining valuable experience and putting together several encouraging individual performances. Lillie Price led the way for the Pirates, earning a medal with a 27th-place finish. Jasmine McClusky also turned in an impressive performance, improving her time by more than two minutes compared to her race at the same meet last year. The Pirates continue to show progress early in the season, with strong individual performances and steady improvement throughout the roster. Under head coach Kaylin Schaefer, Perkins will look to build on these positive results as the season continues.
