The Perkins Freshman Football team picked up an impressive 28-0 victory over Oak Harbor on Monday night, putting together a strong performance on both sides of the ball. JJ Green led the way at quarterback, making plays with both his arm and his legs to help keep the Pirates' offense moving. Maverick Mallot and Lincoln Smith also made several key catches throughout the game, providing Green with reliable targets. Derrius Martin contributed with several strong runs and found the end zone on a screen pass, adding to the Pirates' offensive attack. Defensively, Perkins put together a dominant performance, holding Oak Harbor scoreless for the entire game. The Pirates' defense consistently made plays and helped secure the shutout. The 28-0 victory gives the Freshman Pirates plenty of momentum as they stand at 1-1 on the season.
