TIFFIN, OH — Facing off against a competitive 16-team field at Mohawk Country Club, the Perkins High School boys golf team put together a strong performance to finish tied for 3rd place overall at the Tiffin Columbian Tornado Invite. The Pirates posted a team total score of 333, matching Division II contender Napoleon and finishing just behind tournament champions Sylvania Southview (325) and runners-up Anthony Wayne (327). Kyle Schaefer and Ian Krecic lead the way both shooting an 89 and tying for 9th individually. Ty Obergefell shot an 83 to finish in 16th. Josh Cummings rounded out the scoring with an 88 to finish in 47th.
