BOYS GOLF EDGES OUT BELLEVUE TO CLAIM VICTORY AT NOC TOURNAMENT #1

The boys golf team kicked off the Northern Ohio Conference Tournament #1 in impressive fashion, firing a team score of 326 to capture first place in a competitive nine-team field at Maumee Bay Golf Course. In a tightly contested battle at the top of the leaderboard, Perkins managed to hold off second-place Bellevue (328) by just two strokes, while Columbian secured third place with a 331. Kyle Schaefer led the charge with a 79, placing 4th overall in the individual standings. Ian Krecic finished 7th with an 81, while Ty Obergefell and Colton Kelley tied for 10th with each carding rounds of 83 to round out the team's scorers. Sophomore Hunter Schwerer shot an 85 to place 15th overall and Zach Cummings shot a 105.
