ELMORE, Ohio — The Perkins High School girls varsity golf team put together a winning team performance to capture the Woodmore Invitational championship at Sugar Creek Golf Course. The Pirates posted a team score of 356, edging out second-place Hopewell-Loudon (362) by six strokes to top the seven-team field. Senior Ireland Hart led the way for Perkins, firing a team-low round of 76 to finish second overall in the individual competition. Junior Maycee Bohn followed closely behind with a strong performance of her own, carding an 85 to earn a fourth-place individual finish. Senior Aubrey Ransom posted a 97 (24th overall), while freshman Tatum Koch rounded out the top four counting scores with a 98 (26th overall) to secure the victory for the Pirates. Also competing for Perkins were sophomores Maggy Boggs (107) and Sarah West (114). They are back in action on Monday at the NOC Tournament #1 at Maumee Bay
