HURON — The Perkins girls golf team put together a strong overall performance on Wednesday, finishing fifth out of 18 competing teams at the Edison Invitational held at Thunderbird Hills Golf Course. The Pirates posted a team score of 370 in the crowded 18-hole tournament field, led by Ireland Hart. Hart paced the squad with a team-best 78 to finish 4th individually in the tournament. Aubrey Ransom added a 93 for Perkins, followed closely by Maycee Bohn with a 96. Lucy Miller rounded out the team score with a round of 103. Head coach Stephanie Dubois’ group showed up strong in a large field, securing a top-five placement to build early-season momentum.
