CLYDE, Ohio — The Perkins High School boys golf opened the season at Green Hills Golf Course today, firing a team score of 314 to claim 3rd place out of 17 teams in a highly competitive Hohenstein Classic. Mansfield Madison won the tournament with a 310 followed by Tiffin Columbian taking second by shooting a 311. Ian Krecic led the way shooting a 74. Kyle Schaefer shot a 77 and Colton Kelley a 79. Ty Obergefell rounded out the scoring with an 84. The Pirates are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Shelby.
